Complex tactical defensive, as well as s special tactical drill in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, took place in the northern Uzbekistan, the Northwestern Military District of the Ministry of Defense reported.
The course of the exercises was observed by the Chairman of SUprem Council of Karakalpakstan autonomy Amanbay Orynbaev, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, representatives of military districts and territorial law enforcement agencies.
The drills began with repulsing the attack of conditional terrorists during combat duty by units of the Border Troops. During the drill, special operations to free mock hostages in a railway transport and a multi-storey building were demonstrated, an attack on a checkpoint was jointly repelled, the actions of sniper pairs, as well as the destruction of a mock enemy in a populated area.
In the final part of the exercises, the guests got acquainted with the equipment at the military district and the camp for survival in extreme conditions built on the territory of the training ground.
The exercises were attended by units of the Ministry of Defense, the State Security Service, the National Guard Department, the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations and Health of Karakalpakstan.
