President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on May 26 appointing Aziz Abdukhakimov as Minister of Employment and Labor Relations, the Ministry announced in a statement.
Earlier - since 2016 - Aziz Abdukhakimov headed the Ministry of Labor, which was by May 23 presidential decree reorganized into the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations.
Aziz Abdukhakimov (53 years of age) headed the Ministry of Labor since the summer of 2014, before that - from November 2012 he served as chairman of the Committee for Privatization, Demonopolization and Development of Competition.
From March 2010 he was Acting Chairman of the Committee for State Assets Management, and before that - First Deputy Chairman of the same Committee.
