Business entities exporting products from fabrics and knitted fabrics to European countries, Turkey, Egypt and Morocco will get subsidies until January 1, 2024 to compensate for 70% of transportation costs. This is provided for by the Dec. 21 decree of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on supporting the exports.

The document allows business entities that timely repay loans issued at the expense of financial resources provided by the Export Promotion Agency to finance pre-export and export-related trade operations to receive additional loans in proportion to the repaid part of the loan.

While, the ban on vegetable oil exports now only applies to cottonseed, sunflower, corn and soybean oils.

The export of all vegetable oils, including sunflower and cottonseed oils, has been banned since June 1 to ensure price stability in consumer markets. The ban on the export of sunflower seeds and other oilseeds remains in place.
