Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will set up a joint business council, Adham Ikramov the chairman of the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on Tuesday in Tashkent.
According to him, the first meeting of the Uzbek-Tajik business council will be held as part of the state visit of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan.
The Business Council will discuss issues that Uzbek and Tajik entrepreneurs are interested in today, with US$ 15 million worth of export-import contracts to be signed at the first business council meeting
Earlier it was reported that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Tajikistan in March 2018.
