The government decided to sell the controlling stake in Jizzakh Battery Plant, worth almost 94 billion soums. “In line with the President’s Measures For Further Development of Jizzakh Battery Plant Decree of June 5, 2018, Uzavtosanoat will offer the 51.78% stake of Jizzakh Battery Plant through Tashkent Stock Exchange, Uzavtosanoat said.
A total of 38,601,936 shares worth 93.8 billion soums will be sold to foreign investors.
180 days will be provided to pay the 85% of the value. The shares will be issued on December 14, 2018.
The company produces more than 30 types of batteries for vehicles and agricultural machineries of GM Uzbekistan, SamAvto, MAN Auto-Uzbekistan.
