Uzbek Ambassador Ulugbek Maqsudov met with director of Sitra textile company Omar al-Saqqaf in Jeddah, Dunyo reported. The parties discussed the ways to advance cooperation between the Uzbek and Saudi Arabian textile companies, the export of UZbe textile products to Saudi Arabia, and the establishment of a joint venture.
Omar al-Saqqaf said that Saudi investors want to establish close ties with Uzbek ministries and agencies, to jointly invest in projects in the textile sector.
The parties exchanged views on the establishment of the Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia textile joint venture.
