Samarkand will host the second forum of rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Turkey on November 13-14, Dunyo said.
Reportedly, the forum is expected to be attended by the leadership of the Higher Education Council and rectors of more than 40 leading universities of this country, and by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the leadership of the Republican Council of Higher Education and rectors of more than 40 prestigious higher education institutions.
At the conference, more than 50 agreements are expected to be inked between the higher education institutions of the two countries on promotion of engineering and technical education as a priority, training of personnel in master's and doctoral studies, professional development of professors and teachers, and organization of internship programs.
The first forum of rectors of Uzbekistan-Turkey higher education institutions took place on June 9-10, 2022 in Izmir, Turkey. 45 cooperation agreements were signed at the forum between the higher education institutions of the two countries.
