Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmonov (replacing Said Rustamov) started his posting in London, UK, Dunyo reported.
Since 2018, Ravshan Usmonov, 45, served as Ambassador to Malaysia. Ravshan Usmonov. He graduated from of the University of Birmingham (UK), the University of World Economy and and the Tashkent State Law Institute.
He has worked in the foreign policy department since 2000, holding various positions in the central office and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain. Later he headed the Department of Foreign Affairs for Cooperation with European countries and NATO. He worked as ambassador to France, as well as to Italy and Portugal.
