Delegation headed by the Vice Premier of China’s State Council Liu Guojun will visit Uzbekistan on a four-day visit, the Dunyo said.
Liu Guozhong will attend the 7th meeting of the Uzbekistan-China intergovernmental committee on cooperation, get acquainted with a number of industrial facilities in Tashkent city, Samarkand, Syrdarya provinces," the spokesman to the Uzbekistan Prime Minister said.
Liu Guozhong, 61, was elected to the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in October 2022, and on March 12, 2023, he was confirmed as the Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China at the 5th Plenary Session of the 1st Session of the National People's Congress.
According to Xinhua, the Vice Premier Liu Guozhong will land in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on May 12-20 for his Central Asia tour.
