From 24th to 28th May, the XI ECG Film Festival in the UK will showcase Uzbek cinema with the screening of "Sharaf Rashidov-the Inspirer for the Development of Mirzachul." This year, the festival received nearly 100 entries from 22 countries, with 10 films selected for the Best Documentary category. Among these, 3 films made it to the final, including one focusing on Sharaf Rashidov. British audiences can catch the screening on 27th May at Premier Cinemas Romford.

Commenting on the entry, jury member Symon Lord remarked, "Shukhrat Khaitov's work sheds light on the life of the legendary Sharaf Rashidov as a public figure. The narrative is easily accessible, featuring a voice-over and insights from scholars and individuals who were acquainted with him."

The climax of the VI ECG Film Festival will be the awards ceremony on 28th May, featuring a performance by the duo "Shexon," composed of Sherzod Nuraliev and Dildora Olimva, both alumni of the University of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan. The festival winner will be announced at this significant event, where accolades will be presented to the most outstanding participants, potentially including a filmmaker from Uzbekistan.
