The Senate will be convened for its next session on July 10, 2024 and is scheduled to review the following bills, the senate's press service said in a statement:
- Amendments and addenda to some legal documents;
- Amendments and addenda to the Employment of the Population Law;
- Amendments to the Code of Administrative Liability aimed at strengthening liability for illegal handling of pyrotechnic articles;
- Amendments and addenda to the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Liability in connection with the adoption of additional measures for the prevention of offenses and crimes;
- Amendments and addenda to the Urban Planning Code in connection with the improvement of the system of development of urban planning documents of state administration and settlements in the field of urban planning activity;
- Addenda to the Licensing, Permitting and Notification Procedures Law aimed at improving the activities of customs brokers and the delivery of international courier shipments;
- Amendments to the Plant Quarantine Law in connection with the easing of phytosanitary requirements;
- Amendments and addenda to some legal documents in connection with the improvement of state management in the field of education as part of administrative reforms;
- Amendments and addenda to some legal documents;
- Ratification of agreements with Turkmenistan and Turkey.
The senators will also discuss the activities carried out in Tashkent city in connection with the development of entrepreneurship and the improvement of the environmental situation.
Also, the results of the parliamentary inquiry sent to the government regarding the improvement of the quality structure of protected natural areas, the preservation of flora and fauna, and the state of cadastre management, as well as the sending of a parliamentary inquiry to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding some issues of self-employment, are considered.
