Six-year-old boy left his house to go to the store and disappeared in Tashkent’s Uchtepa district on the evening of July 8, the UzAlert search and rescue team reported. In the morning he was found in an open manhole with water.
The spokesman to the General Prosecutor's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov said that the manhole was left open and unguarded by workers from a service organization who were repairing a broken hot water pipe.
Criminal case has been launched based on this fact under Violation of labor protection rules charge of the Criminal Code, with an investigation underway.
