Inson project with the participation of the World Bank for $100 million was discussed at a presentation on the social protection made to the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 10. The project aims to integrate vulnerable populations into society.
Within its framework, 55 multifunctional provincial service centers will be set up with the launch of the provision of 20 types of social services. 4 exemplary centers for inclusive vocational education will be set up in Tashkent, Fergana and Samarkand.
5,000 employees will undergo advanced training in the field of social service. A regulatory framework for flexible social services and assistance will be formed, the presidential press service said in a statement.
Another innovation is the adoption of a social card. This will make it possible to fully automate the processes of assignment, provision, monitoring and evaluation of social payments and subsidies, social services and assistance. The social card will be both a means of payment and confirmation of membership in a needy category.
This procedure will be introduced first in Tashkent and Yangiyul districts from December 1 (planned from October 1), and from next year - in other provinces. As a result, 72 types of social services, 76 types of assistance and about 200 benefits will be combined into a single electronic system. Through the digitalization of the sphere, a “social digital passport” will be adopted, reflecting the needs and capabilities of each family, it was noted at the presentation.
Presidential Adviser on Social Protection and Director of the National Social Protection Agency Mansurbek Olloyorov said that the president had approved this project.
