Fergana resident Madina Soliyeva was enrolled in the Uzbek State University of World Languages ​​(UzSUWL) after a meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This information was confirmed to Gazeta.uz by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

On July 11, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Yangi Uzbekistan complex under construction in Fergana, where he talked with local residents, including Madina Solieva, who spoke about her desire to study at UzSUWL.

The next day, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education came to the girl along with the rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and presented her with a certificate of enrollment in the university in the field of “Philology and language teaching: Russian language” on a grant basis.

The certificate was signed by the head of the Ministry of Higher Education, Kongratbay Sharipov, and the rector, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.

In May, the granddaughter of a war veteran was admitted to the Tashkent State University of Economics on the basis of a grant as a gift from the president.

Let us remind you that for the 2024/2025 academic year, 894,729 applicants submitted applications for admission to universities.
