Starting from July 26, the Fergana and Aq-qiya border customs checkpoints located at the entrance to Shahimardon exclave of Fergana province were switched to round-the-clock working regimen, the Customs Committee said.
Reportedly, individuals who are going to Shahimardon on vacation may pass at any time through these two customs facilities on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border.
This novelty was launched in pursuance of the agreements reached at the meeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov on July 18, 2024 in Tashkent.
