At the first meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council, the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a Joint Statement, as well as decisions of the Supreme Interstate Council on approving the Strategic Partnership and Alliance Program for 2024-2034 and creating the Council of Foreign Ministers. Afterwards they oversaw the signing of the following accords:

  • Intergovernmental agreement on the state border;
  • Amendments to intergovernmental agreements on state border checkpoints and international automobile traffic;
  • Intergovernmental plan of activities for cultural and humanitarian cooperation for 2024-2025;
  • Agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture;
  • Agreement on cooperation in the field of health care;
  • Minutes of meeting on cooperation between the ministries of economy;
  • Minutes of meeting on cooperation in the field of regulation of natural monopolies and in the field of competition policy;
  • Memorandum on the establishment of the Uzbek-Kazakh expert council;
  • Agreement on mutual understanding between the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties of Uzbekistan and the Otandastar Fund of Kazakhstan;
  • Action plan to expand cooperation between the Tashkent khokimiyat and the Astana mayor’s office in the trade, economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian areas for 2024-2026.
