Officers of the Operations and search department of the Interior Ministry and the State Security Service arrested two suspects in Tashkent for illegal sale of potent drugs by means of stashing, the press service of the Interior Ministry said.
In total, 42.8 kg of potent drugs with a market value of 35.692 billion soums (2.8 million dollars) were seized during the joint operation.
Some of the " drugs" were found in the trunk of a Chevrolet Spark of one of the detainees - he was hiding 36 kg of Pregabalin in packages from under washing powder and other containers.
The rest of the items, as well as containers and equipment for packing the drugs, were seized in the apartment where the drugs were packaged for stashing.
A criminal case has been launched on this fact, with an investigation underway.
