According to the verdict, A.I., 25 worked as a senior salesman at the Pakhtaabad district branch of Ucell. In October 2023, the young man transferred 198,900,000 soums transferred by the company for payments to customers to his bank card using Paynet app. He then bet this amount on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange for Bitcoin trading.

In court, A.I. pleaded guilty and said that he compensated for the damage, regretted what he had done, and asked for a lenient sentence.
According to the court decision, A.I. was found guilty of committing the crime under Misappropriation of a large amount or robbery charge. He was sentenced to 2 years of correctional labor, with 20% of his monthly salary to be deducted in favour of the state, with the deprivation of the right to work in financially responsible positions in state and state-owned enterprises for 1 year.
