Homicide occurred in the Muzrabad district of the Surkhandarya province on August 11, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov said.
F. Jabbarova, 18, died of injuries inflicted on her by a stick and a metal object. Reportedly, she was attacked by her younger brother, 16-year-old A. Jabbarov, because his sister "had been dating with guys."
The district prosecutor's office launched a criminal case under the Intentional Murder charge of the Criminal Code. The suspect has been arrested, with investigation underway.
