On the eve of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a number of decrees on awarding civil servants, representatives of various spheres, medical workers, military personnel and law enforcement officers.

Among civil servants and employees of state enterprises, the following received titles and orders:

Among the heads of law enforcement and judicial bodies, the following received awards:

• Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojonov — Shon-Sharaf Order of the 1st (highest) degree, which is awarded for dedication and courage shown in defending the fatherland, for great services in strengthening defense capability and national security, increasing the combat readiness of the armed forces and ensuring law and order in Uzbekistan;
• Chairman of the Supreme Court Bakhtiyar Islamov — Dustlik (Friendship) Order;
• Chairman of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance Akmalhuja Mavlonov - the Dustlik (Friendship) Order;
• Deputy Head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent for the Protection of Public Order Murodilla Alikariev - the Mardlik (Courage) Order;

and others.

Awards were also given to workers in the fields of science, education, literature, culture, art, sports and mass media. Among them are the singer Sevara Nazarkhan, the singer Ilkhom Yulchiev (DJ Piligrim), the rector of the State Conservatory, the artistic director of the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and others.

The President also awarded the Order of Dustlik (Friendship) to Kazakh government officials: State Advisor Erlan Karin, Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Communications Ruslan Zheldibay, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tashkent Beibut Atamkulov and Chairman of the Association of Ethnocultural Associations of Uzbeks in Kazakhstan Ikram Khashimzhanov.
