President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted a Russian delegation consisting of Deputy PM, Vitaly Savelyev, Advisor to the President of Russia, Igor Levitin and Chairman of the Board of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov on Wednesday.
At the beginning of the meeting, members of the Russian delegation conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the Russian president Vladimir Putin.
The parties reportedly discussed the progress of the agreements reached during the summit meetings in Tashkent on May 26-28 this year and focused on the adoption of coordinated measures to develop effective transport corridors in the region.
They emphasized the importance of expediting industrial cooperation projects in transport, further expanding partnerships in the field of automobile, rail and air communications, as well as training highly qualified engineering personnel.
