, Tashkent will host the Destination: Tashkent Film and Discourse Festival From September 26 to 29. The event is organized by the House of World Culture in Berlin (HKW) and the Goethe-Institut Uzbekistan.
The festival program includes screenings of historical films from the Tashkent Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema (1968-1988), contemporary works by Central Asian directors, as well as discussions, cultural events and meetings with the film community.
As part of the festival, the vernissage of the Destination: Tashkent archival exhibition will open on September 20 at the Ilkhom Theater. The exhibition will tell the history of the Tashkent Film Festival and will last until October 14. Visitors will be able to see photographs from the National Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents of Uzbekistan, as well as artifacts and archival film materials from the history of the festival.
The main events will take place at the Goethe-Institut, MOC Hub and the Alisher Navoi Cinema Palace.

After — Party with a DJ on the roof of the Zhemchug house.
