Over the past 7 years, the number of stations in the Tashkent subway has increased from 29 to 50. According to the Ministry of Transport, the total length of the subway lines has increased from 38 to 71 kilometers.
A total of 36 trains were operating from 2017 to 2019. By 2024, their number will rise to 65.
The Subway authorities unveiled plans to purchase another 26 modern trains by the end of 2025.
These trains will significantly reduce travel times and proved more convenience for passengers.
