President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the visiting Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov on Thursday, the presidential press service said.
The parties reportedly discussed the ways to develop the bilateral ties of a comprehensive strategic partnership in accordance with the agreements reached at the highest level.
They also reviewed practical aspects of interaction between the Prosecutor General's Offices in the fight against terrorism, extremism, cybercrime, corruption and illegal migration, cooperation in the return of criminal assets, the introduction of artificial intelligence and digitalization.
They pointed to the need to establish a close dialogue, expand contacts and exchanges, and hold joint events between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries.
