Uzbekistan was ranked 59th in the United Nations E-Government Development Index, which measures a government’s capability and willingness to provide services and communicate with its citizens electronically.

The Korea Republic topped the Index on the maximum score (1), and Eritrea was at the bottom of the table with the lowest score (0).

Top country among the CIS and Central Asian countries was Kazakhstan, which was placed 10th in the Index, followed by Armenia, which took 53rd place, Russia - 56th, Uzbekistan - 59th, Kyrgyzstan in 89th, and Turkmenistan was among the bottom countries in 172nd place.
