Uzbekistan’s permanent population as of December 9, 2024 stood at 37 million 535 thousand 605 people, the Statistics Agency said. Reportedly, of which 18.6 million are women and 18.9 million are men.
On April 22, Uzbekistan’s permanent population reached 37 million people.
According to the Statistics Agency, as of October 1, 2024, the average number of residents in Uzbekistan per 1 km2 was 83.2 people.
This is an increase by 1.7 people compared to the same period last year (as of October 1, 2023, there were 81.5 people per 1 km2).
