Uzbek female, 28, was detained in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan on suspicion of preparing and distributing extremist materials via social networks, the Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security reported.

Reportedly, joint operation to monitor and analyze the Internet, conducted in cooperation with the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan and the Osh regional police department, found that she had been posting extremist and terrorist materials on his Instagram and TikTok pages.

The case-related materials were registered in the Unified Register of Crimes by Criminal Elements. The examination showed that the materials belong to the international terrorist organization ISIS, which is banned in Kyrgyzstan.

The suspect is a citizen of Uzbekistan Sh.N., born in 1997, who advertised and sold jihadist audio "narratives" on social networks by placing them in a video advertising niqabs.

The woman is currently being kept in a temporary detention center, and urgent investigative measures are ongoing in the case.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan published a list of about 1,400 sources that were found to distributing religious extremist and terrorist ideas and whose import, production, storage and distribution in Uzbekistan that are prohibited.
