President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on creating Cyber University, a state-owned university Monday, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies said.
The new university will provide programs in IT security, cybersecurity, digital technologies and the digital economy, the creation of automated information and AI analytical systems, robotics and related areas.
It will also provide retraining and advanced training in the field of digital technologies.
in October 2024was adopted AI Development Strategy 2030, which aims at turning the country into a regional IT hub.
In December, at a government meeting with Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to enhance AI skills of 3,000 civil servants, as well as mayors and their deputies.
