The inauguration ceremony of the Uzbek-Chinese Transport University Program took place at the Tashkent State Transport University.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Shohrukh Daliev, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China Shaanxi Province, Governor Zhao Gang, and the delegation led by Chen Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Changan University, as well as the university leadership.
Reportedly, the launch of program is a sign that the strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the fields of education and transport is reaching a new level. The initiative will ensure the exchange of modern knowledge and experience for young people of the two countries, as well as prepare competitive specialists for future major projects.
The parties then signed an agreement on cooperation between Tashkent State Transport University and Changan University. This cooperation has become an important step towards strengthening bilateral ties, developing scientific and research activities, and establishing exchanges of professors, teachers and students.
