The President Mirziyoyev signed Measures to boost efficiency, proactivity and effectiveness in governance system Decree Tuesday.
According to the decree:
🔹Drug and Firearms Oversight Agency was set up at the National Drug Control Center;
🔹Management Efficiency Agency was set up at the Civil Service Development Agency;
🔹Culture and Arts Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers was transferred to the Presidential Administration.
By September 1, 2025, draft regulations will be developed aimed at:
➖increasing the efficiency of the activities of the national and local authorities aimed at eliminating bureaucratic obstacles, eliminating redundant control functions, and ensuring transparency and openness in decision-making;
➖ further expanding the economic, administrative and financial powers of local mayor offices in terms of comprehensive development of regions, ensuring employment and increasing incomes.
