An Uzbek national N.S., a native of Samarkand province, was stabbed to death out of jealousy by her husband, an Uzbek national in Istanbul on August 17.
Reportedly, the suspect was detained during a search operation conducted by the Istanbul police. B.O., a resident of Jizzakh province who is suspected of helping him hide, was also detained by the police, with the investigation ongoing.
The necessary documents have been prepared to send the deceased's body to Uzbekistan, and the Migration Agency is providing assistance.
