A historic event occurred in Arnasay district of the Jizzakh province - for the first time ever a passenger plane made a test land at the local airport, which is now under construction, UzA said.
Reportedly, the technical capacities were tested through a successful flight of the Let-410 aircraft of the Uzbekistan Airways airline.
After the airport is fully operational, it will receive both domestic and international flights and Arnasay is expected to become a strategic tourist destination.
Earlier, the runway of the Arnasay airfield was tested by a CASA C295W military transport aircraft.
