President Shavkat Mirziyoyev heard with a presentation on measures to expand and simplify governmental services in the justice system Friday.
According to the presidential press service, over the past eight years, about 70 regulations have been adopted to reform the justice bodies. The justice bodies have been granted more than 20 additional powers, and 202 governmental service centers have been built in the provinces. Today, the public has access to more than 500 types of governmental services in One Stop principle. The timelines to obtain the necessary certificates has been reduced from hours and days to 5-10 minutes.
However, a number of unresolved problems are still there. Insufficient digital interaction between departments creates bureaucratic barriers, with over 200 services still provided in old ways, and in remote areas, the public has limited access to services.
According to the announced plans, by 2027 the number of governmental services will be brought to 900. Every year, 80 types of services will be simplified in three steps principle. 1,100 interactive kiosks will be installed in crowded places and neighborhoods.
While, showing 30 types of documents will be scrapped. Namely, civil registry offices will no longer require medical certificates from those registering marriage, and military registration and enlistment offices will no longer require documents on change of residence. This data will be automatically transferred between systems online.
Notaries
Today, notaries provide more than 80 types of services, with now only 11% of them available online. By 2027, it is planned to transfer 20 notarial actions to digital format. The requirement to present the original identity document will also be canceled - identification will take place using Face-ID.
