An 11-year-old Uzbek national died in a traffic accident in Qatar, Dunyo news agency said. Reportedly, M.A., 11, a native of Tashkent city died at the scene sustaining severe head injuries in the accident, which resulted from a loss of control of the vehicle.
The Uzbek Embassy in Qatar reportedly provided assistance to the deceased's family, including with funeral arrangements.
Considering the current situation in the region, as well as current restrictions related to transportation and logistics, with the family's consent, the deceased's body was interred in Qatar in accordance with all national and religious traditions, the statement concluded.
