Uzbekistan has condemned the Israeli strikes on a residential area in Doha, Qatar, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The attack is a violation of sovereignty, an encroachment on the inviolability of borders and the security of the State of Qatar, the statement said.
Such actions are unacceptable and constitute a serious disregard for the UN Charter, as well as the fundamental norms and principles of international law, the statement added.
Uzbekistan has consistently opposed to any form of use of force in international relations and to steps that aggravate the already difficult situation in the Middle East," the Foreign Ministry added.
The Israeli army said that the strikes carried out on Tuesday morning were against the top leadership of Hamas. Qatar called the attack a gross violation of all international laws and norms" that poses a serious threat to the security of Qatari residents.
