Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways) will launch daily Almaty to Tashkent service deploying high-speed Talgo starting December 14, the company said in a statement.
The daily service will carry 400 passengers every day. The route will utilize "Talgo" trains with an increased level of comfort.
Reportedly, the service is intended to improve transport connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, promote tourism, and strengthen cultural and business ties between the two countries.
