President Mirziyoyev has relieved Sherzod Kudbiyev of chairman of the Tax Committee role, the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
Sherzod Kudbiyev had held this position since August 2023. Prior to that, he served for eight months as Minister of Economy and Finance. From May 2020 to the end of 2022, he headed the State Tax Committee. Prior to that, he served as a presidential adviser on civil service and interaction with parliament, as the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations, as the mayor of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, and in other positions.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Kudbiyev as chairman of the newly created National Committee for Sustainable Development of Urbanization and the Housing Market, which was created by the November 20 presidential decree.
Farrukh Pulatov was also appointed chairman of the Tax Committee by presidential decree. Prior to this, he served as Director of the Cadastre Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Finance since March 2022.
Farrukh Pulatov, 46, previously served as chief of the Fergana branch of the Department for Combating Tax, Currency Crimes, and Money Laundering at the Prosecutor General's Office (now the Department for Economic Crimes). Since 2001, he has held various positions in the prosecutor's offices in the Fergana and Namangan provinces.
From July 2018 to 2022, he was in charge of the Uzdonmahsulot company.
