At 1:15 a.m. on December 8, a Boeing 747-400 cargo flight of Air Atlanta Icelandic landed at the Tashkent International airport and brought 93 tons of live cattle from Liege, Belgium, Uzbekistan Airports said.
On board the aircraft were Simmental and Holstein breed cows imported from Germany and Austria. Simmentals are renowned for their versatility to produce good milk and meat, while Holsteins are known for their high milk yield and productivity.
Reportedly the unloading and transportation of livestock from the aircraft complied with all veterinary requirements.
