The Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee okayed the purchase of 100% stake in the Uzbek beverage manufacturer Southhub by RG Brands South a subsidiary of Kazakh RG Brands, the committee's press service said.
The holding manufactures water, tea, milk, juices, energy drinks, carbonated drinks, and juice-containing drinks under the brands Ava Lemonade, ASU, Piala Ice Tea, Gracio, Piala Gold, DaDa, Nectar Solnechny, Moyo, Piala Lux, and others.
A special commission reviewed the transaction and concluded that the purchase would not affect the competitive environment, after which the committee decided to approve the acquisition.
According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations , Southhub was started on September 24, 2025, in Yangiyul and is owned by Master Global Plus.
Master Global Plus was launched in 2011 and manufactures concentrated juices, fruit purees, and tomato paste (Dolce Fresh Light, Bingo, and FrutominPro)., and owns a 7.2-hectare plant in Yangiyul, 31 km from Tashkent.
The company also owns the Cool Line lemonade and Carelux hand sanitizer trademarks.
Master Global Plus’ equity owners are Maksud Fayzullaev (36.94%), Nilufar Khadzhaeva (31.24%), Khabibullo Khasanov (30.59%), and Bobir Karimov (1.23%).
