President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke to the U.S. President Donald Trump over the telephone Tuesday. According to the Uzbek president's press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated his American counterpart on the New Year holidays, wishing the American people peace, well-being, and prosperity.

Donald Trump conveyed congratulations to the Uzbek president and people on his own behalf and on behalf of the American people, wishing them happiness, success, and new achievements in the coming year.

The two leaders reviewed the progress of the agreements reached during their autumn meetings, as well as the ways to advance the Uzbek-American relations.

Reportedly, the Uzbek leader highly praised President Donald Trump's achievements in domestic and foreign policies this year, particularly emphasizing his productive efforts to resolve acute international crises and conflicts.

The counterparts also focused on the international and regional problems, stressing the importance of multilateral cooperation, including in the C5+1 (Central Asia + United States) format.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Donald Trump to visit Uzbekistan at his convenience.

The US President wrote on his social media account, Truth Social, that he had "two excellent conversations this morning" with the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

"I had two wonderful telephone calls this morning with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We discussed the importance of bringing Peace to ongoing conflicts, and increased Trade and Cooperation between our Nations. The relationship with both Countries is spectacular. The United States will be hosting the G20 Summit next year, and we will be extending invites to both of these Leaders to join us as guests at this very important event, which will take place in Miami!.” Donald Trump wrote.
