Today, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the former President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
At the beginning of the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev exchanged warm congratulations on the upcoming New Year, expressing their best wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity to the peoples of the two fraternal states.
They particularly emphasized the high level of friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the ongoing development of multifaceted cooperation in all key areas of cooperation.
Earlier on Saturday, Nursultan Nazarbayev was hosted by the Russian president Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.
