As per the updated draft Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy, authorities will aim to increase the number of visa-free countries for Uzbeks up to 50 by 2030.
The Foreign Ministry will hold talks with an aim to gradually increase the number of visa-free destinations for Uzbeks: to 37 in 2026, to 42 in 2027, to 45 in 2028, to 48 in 2029, and to 50 in 2030. While, the number of countries with simplified entry is also aimed at 60.
Agreements are also envisaged with at least three countries to allow Uzbeks to travel using internal ID cards.
