Uzbek Ambassador Gayrat Fozilov (stationed in Brussels) met with the director of Dutch MMBS Groep and the manager of the Bouwmensen Amsterdam educational center, the Dunyo news agency said.

They explored opportunities for intensifying cooperation in the field of labor migration, simplifying visa procedures, and developing labor migration programs between the two countries.

Executive of MMBS Groep emphasized that Uzbekistan was a reliable partner in supplying skilled personnel, with 40 Uzbek workers now employed by the company with a salary of 2,500 euros and unveiled plans to hire about 6,000 more Uzbeks in the future.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on setting up of the first construction sector training center in Urgench city, and later on, opening centers for training specialists in plumbing, electrical engineering, and other technical areas.
