Heating season will be phased out starting March 24 in Tashkent city, the city administration's press service announced. The decision was due to the persisting warm weather.
Temperatures have been keeping at comfortable levels for several days, requiring gradual reduction in demand for centralized heating. Heat supply will be maintained during the upcoming holidays to ensure residents' comfort. Given the stabilization of temperatures, the city is moving toward the scheduled end of the heating season, the administration added.
The phased end of the heating season will reportedly help avoid sudden temperature fluctuations in residential buildings and ensure the stable operation of utility systems, the administration noted.
The heating season in the capital began on November 3.
The зкумшўгқ heating season lasted from November 7, 2024, to March 18, 2025.
