Speaking at the Navruz celebrations in New Uzbekistan Park President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his opening remarks congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Navruz, "the Eastern New Year, which this year coincided with the celebration of Ramadan, as if two great rivers had merged into a single stream."
"I sincerely and wholeheartedly congratulate you, our entire multinational nation, on these kind and wonderful holidays—symbols of the awakening of nature and spiritual cleansing."
"Our hearts, eagerly awaiting spring, beat in unison with the rhythms of a new day, a new life. Thanks to generous rains, rivers and lakes are filled with life-giving moisture. Gardens, mountains, and plains are donning a green robe, heralding a fruitful year".
"Navruz has served as a spiritual bridge between peoples for millennia." "In these turbulent times, the ideas of peace, friendship, and cooperation embodied in it are becoming increasingly relevant".
"Over 130 ethnicities and peoples living in our country celebrate this holiday as one big family, in a joyful mood. Such friendship, mutual respect, and unity are the most reliable guarantee for building a New Uzbekistan".
"We are mobilizing all our strengths and capabilities to further enhance interethnic and interfaith harmony in our society. As we join our neighboring fraternal countries in becoming a united Central Asia, we will prioritize enhancing the region's status as a bastion of peace, brotherhood, and cooperation”.
"My dears, look how beautiful our country is, how generous and fertile our land is, how unique our nature is! But our greatest treasure is our hardworking, kindhearted, and noble people, who have carefully preserved all these riches for centuries. If we conserve the blessings bestowed by the Almighty—land, water, and other resources—and use them rationally, then our opportunities will undoubtedly increase many times over.”
“Together, more united than ever, we will build a new life, a new history, a new future!” remarked Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
