A total of 30.6 thousand crimes were recorded in Tashkent city in 2025, with a significant portion of them being cybercrimes, the Tashkent City Prosecutor's Office said.
It is noted that in recent years, the number of cybercrimes has been increasing sharply. This is explained by the expansion of digital services, online payments and the volume of financial transactions via the Internet.
Meanwhile, the overall crime rate in 2025 decreased by 4.7% to the previous year, with 737 billion soums worth of damage were recovered.
