As part of Uzbekistan's initiative to digitalize neighborhood management, the information systems of 35 ministries and government agencies will be integrated into the "Raqamli Mahalla" (Digital Mahalla) platform.

A presentation reviewed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev revealed that door-to-door assessments conducted by the "mahalla seven" (local neighborhood leadership teams) identified pressing grievances among 1.365 million residents. To resolve these issues swiftly, government databases will be linked to this single unified platform. This integration will enable officials to pinpoint localized problems, analyze incoming requests systematically, and deploy targeted solutions rapidly.

Furthermore, authorities plan to introduce artificial intelligence technologies into the platform. This addition will establish a predictive mechanism capable of anticipating and addressing the most critical vulnerabilities within each neighborhood before they escalate.

In addition to digitalization, a customized portfolio of community business initiatives and investment projects will be developed for each neighborhood in partnership with commercial banks. This effort is expected to transform local potential into new job opportunities and sustainable sources of income for residents.

The president issued directives to responsible officials to ensure the full roll-out of the Digital Mahalla platform.

During the same meeting, it was announced that the share of land and property tax revenues allocated directly to neighborhood funds will be increased from 10% to 15%. Additionally, a portion of the fines collected for sanitation violations and illegal construction within a neighborhood's territory will be funneled back into that specific mahalla’s budget.
