The Legislative Chamber at today’s meeting approved the candidacies of two ministers, the press service of the chamber reported.
Sherzod Khidoyatov was considered for the post of Minister of Housing and Communal Services, for the post of Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education - Abduqodir Toshkulov.
The candidates will be confirmed in positions after presidential decrees.
Sherzod Khidoyatov holds the post of First Deputy Minister of Construction.
The previous minister of housing and communal services Muzaffar Saliev was dismissed on January 5 for shortcomings in his work.
Abdukodir Toshqulov is the rector of Termez State University, a senator.
Inom Majidov has been holding the post of Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Since 2017.
