Year-to-date, the officers of the Tashkent City Police Department have seized 655 cold arms or objects that can be used as edged weapons, the press service of the Department reported.
During the checks, a total of 567 knives, 3 axes, 11 brass knuckles, 34 bits and other items were seized.
Protocols were made in relation to citizens in accordance with Article 185-2 (carrying cold arms or objects that can be used as cold arms) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
During inspections in educational institutions, students were found to be carrying 25 knives, 7 brass knuckles and other dangerous items.
