Five students were found dead in Tashkent’s Yunusobod district, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office said. According to the Office, their bodies were found on February 27 at about 20:50 in a house on Inzhobod Street, where they were renting an apartment.
On this fact, the Yunusabad District Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Violation of fire safety rules, resulting in the death of person (s) provision.
According to the provisional conclusion of the forensic medical examination of February 27, the cause of death of the students was acute poisoning with an unknown substance.
The investigation has reportedly been taken under the control of the General Prosecutor's Office.
